Vehicles We Smog

We smog vehicles that are eligible under California’s Smog Check program, including most 1976+ gasoline/hybrid/alternative-fuel cars and light trucks.
Diesel rules are different (generally 1998+ under certain conditions) — if you’re unsure, call and we’ll confirm quickly. We have more information on our FAQ page. You may also visit the Bureau of Automotive Repair’s website.

Pricing

Model Year 2000 and up or Diesels — $60 (Pass or Don’t Pay)

Model Year 1996–1999 (No Pass or Don’t Pay for vehicle 99 down)

  • Pass: $80
  • Fail: $50

1995 and older

  • Pass: $90+
  • Fail: $60+
  • Carbureted vehicles: +$10
    • Carbureted pricing example: $100 / $70

What is Pass or Don’t Pay? It’s just that! If your vehicle is model year 2000 and up (or diesel) and it fails the smog check, we won’t charge you a dime.

If you’re comparing smog check prices, call us with your vehicle year and we’ll confirm your expected total before you come in.

Payments

  • Cash, credit/debit cards, and Cash App accepted.
  • Credit card processing fee: $1.50 per transaction.

What to Bring

  • DMV renewal notice (if you have it) or registration (expired is okay!)
  • Vehicle info (plate / VIN if needed)
